At Sacramento Faith Prayer and Worship Ministries, we believe that all men and women are created in God's image. Our mission is to reflect God's attributes and lead all who worship with us towards a deeper love for God. We are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and are here to spread His message. We welcome worshippers of all ages and backgrounds to join us in building a sacred community.

Our beliefs

Jesus die for us!

Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

This is one of the Bible verses about sacrifice that is truly worth noting. But rather than focusing on the fact that Jesus died for our sins, it instead speaks of selfless love on our part. We are called to offer our bodies "as a living sacrifice." This is a powerful call to us all.

Ministering of hope

* We as Christians believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God – fully human and fully divine – and that through believing in him and following his teachings they can inherit eternal life.

* We believe that Jesus died for humanity, that God raised him from the dead, and that Jesus will come again at the end of time.
* We believe in the Trinity, or the three parts of God: God the Father or Creator, God the Son (Jesus) or Redeemer, and God the Holy Spirit or Sanctifier.

The Holy Spirit is God's presence in the world.

* We believe in healing, deliverance, miracles & wonders, praying, fasting, and stand strong through the deep study of the Scriptures, and preaching the word of salvation via evangelism.

Our Beliefs concerning God

There is only one God.
God is a Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God is perfect.
God is omnipotent.
God is everywhere.
God knows everything.
God created the universe.
God keeps the universe going.

Salvation in Jesus sacrifice

Hebrews 9:28 (NIV) "So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him."

Hebrews 9:28 dives into the core of the gospel: that Jesus died for our sins, and that he will one day return a second time. When we think about his gift of selfless love, we have much to learn in our own lives.
